Staff at the Breon office took a break from the nine to five to help out a charity for street children earlier this month.

It’s not every child who’s lucky enough to receive Christmas presents or even the security of a bed in a warm home and for some in the district of Shuto Orizari, Skopje, a Daycare Centre is the safest place to spend the day.

The Breon team spent the afternoon hanging out with the children hearing about their lives and joining in with the painting, drawing and colouring. They were also able to donate a much-needed fridge to the project.

Tamara Corbik, from Breon, said: “This event was part of our commitment to regular Social Friday activities. We loved meeting the children and spending time with them. Their lives are very different to our own and we were privileged to get know them better and be able to donate a fridge to the centre.’’

Joining businesses and communities together is at the heart of Social Friday. Creating opportunities to meet new people, help out and get teams together outside of the office benefits everyone.
