Social Friday is about you, it’s about making a global impact in a world that needs people just like you to stand up and be counted. We need more and more Friday afternoon volunteers from the private sector and schools to step in and help us make a real, lasting difference in our local communities.

Like-minded people from across Europe have joined forces to drive Social Friday forward. Each with a passion for long- term change and devotion to create awareness on local social causes.
Being aware of the difficulties and hardships societies and communities face on day-to-day basis is the core of creating conditions for attention and long-term improvement. We stand for the belief that our educational system should also play a major role in this process and support the future professionals already at early stages. And that’s an important change in the mindset where we find inspiration to carry our mission – to motivate schools and companies worldwide to use their most unproductive working hours for creating environment of socially active citizens.
With no affiliations to religious or political groups, the team simply wants to help companies, schools and communities work together for a stronger economy and a better society.
