What if you could make a positive impact on the world by focusing on your strengths and investing in your community? What if you could create positive change while feeling good about yourself? The Social Friday way of driving changes makes it possible.

In this blog, we will explore the Social Friday initiative, why we do it, and how you can make a difference in the world. Social Friday is an initiative that encourages people to reinvent Fridays and challenge the status quo. It is a day where people focus on making a positive impact on their communities, society, and the world. Social Friday spends four Fridays a year making a difference. The movement encourages people to invest their time and energy in making the world a better place.

Why we do it?

Awareness is the spark plug for change. Only if we are aware of the need, do we consider contributing. At Social Friday, we have an unwavering commitment to promoting social responsibility in our communities. It’s what we do every day to maximize positive impact and to get more people involved in our community, in our society, and across the globe.

We organize Social Friday events, generate questions as a foundation for answers, and raise awareness. We believe that positive change starts with investing in yourself. When you invest in your community, you could make a global impact. Finally, we do it because it feels good. Friday is the least productive day of the week. Towards the end of the working week, people are no longer fully focused. The enthusiasm for work drops sharply, especially after 2 p.m. What if we use these inefficient Friday afternoons to display our social responsibility?

Ideas on how to make positive changes

Take care of the environment

The environment is crucial to our survival. You can make a positive impact on the world by reducing your carbon footprint, recycling, and using renewable energy. As an individual you can invite your friends and colleagues to take care of the environment by cleaning the waste or plant some trees. Take a look at what the company BREON in collaboration with Treebanks, Faculty of Forestry from Skopje, Dren, Zero Waste and Municipal fire union and Secondary municipal vocational school Ilinden have done on their previous Social Friday event.

Solve important questions

There are many important questions that need to be answered, such as climate change. You can make a positive impact on the world by researching and developing solutions to these questions. Start from small changes and think about the little things you can do in order to make a greater impact in the future.

Invest in education

Education is essential to building a better future. You can make a positive impact on the world by investing in education and supporting educational initiatives. Have you ever considered to donate books and school supplies in your local school or the nearest library? Take a look at how Marketagent contributed with donations for homeless people.

Support social causes

There are many social causes that need support, such as healthcare, poverty reduction, and human rights. You can make a positive impact on the world by supporting these causes and raising awareness.

In conclusion, the Social Friday way of driving changes is an initiative that encourages people to make a positive impact on the world. By focusing on your strengths and investing in your community, you can create positive changes, while feeling good about yourself. Social Friday is a global initiative that turns unproductive Friday afternoons into social awareness and organized acts of generosity by reinventing Fridays and challenging the status quo. Let’s make a positive impact on the world, one Friday at a time.

How are you going to spend this Social Friday? Feel free to gather your collleagues, friends and family and share with us your idea for your Social Friday event.
